About Me 🖤
Birthday moment at The Forum Shops, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
Hi! I’m Ana—the brains (and hands) behind Baddest Babe Nails.
If you had told 12-year-old me back in 1997 (who wouldn’t stop begging her mom for a set of acrylic nails) that one day she would build a nail brand, I never would’ve believed it! I still remember that day like it was yesterday. My mom finally said yes then dropped me off at the salon, and I got my first set: black French tips with holographic glitter. I was so happy! I couldn’t stop looking at my hands. It made me feel confident and a little grown. I was completely mesmerized by these tiny pieces of art.

As the years went on, my love for nail art never faded. I was always drawn to the creativity, the precision, and the artistry behind every set. Still, getting fresh acrylics regularly wasn’t always in the budget. So when I discovered Gel-X, it changed everything. I started doing my own nails at home, experimenting, learning, improving and before I knew it, people were asking if I was a nail tech. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just a hobby anymore..it was a calling.
That confidence eventually nudged me toward crafting press-ons and that’s how Baddest Babe Nails was born. But turning that dream into reality took almost a year of long nights, trial and error, and a whole lot of self-teaching. From learning photography and designing a logo to mastering SEO and building my website from scratch, every step was new. Creating multiple 30-nail sets by hand wasn’t easy either, but just like in my long-distance running days, I approached it the same way: challenge accepted!
Behind the scenes: where every set comes to life.
I pour that same energy into every set I make. With care, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail. From clean, minimal looks to bold designs with spikes, chrome, and rhinestones. My goal is simple, to create nails that reflect who you are: confident, bold, and unapologetically you!
And I’m not done learning. I plan to enroll in cosmetology school to master the manicurist program, deepen my technique, and keep leveling up what I can offer. This brand is more than a shop, it’s a promise to keep growing, keep creating, and keep showing up for the art that’s been with me since that first glittery French tip. 💅
